A Guide to Clean India Show for First-Time Exhibitors
Building at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon: the rules that shape your stand
The BEC (NESCO) is Mumbai's principal venue — a multi-hall complex on the Western Express Highway with its own access and marshalling discipline. Hall heights and column grids vary by hall, so we design to the specific hall rather than a generic assumption.
A cleaning-equipment demonstration needs planning — floor space to run a scrubber or sweeper, power for the equipment, and often water and drainage for wet demos — so we design the demo area with the utilities and safe circulation it needs. Power is sanctioned through the venue's official electrical contractor against a declared load, ordered early to avoid peak-build surcharges. All materials are FR-treated with certificate and fire NOC filed before move-in, finishing is completed off-site, and two-storey builds need a structural-stability certificate from a licensed engineer.
The home-ground advantage is real: our workshop is minutes from the BEC, so there is no long road freight, crating is shorter, and we can react fast during build-up and set a working demo area carefully — a genuine cost and reliability edge on a Mumbai stand.
What a winning cleaning and hygiene stand needs
The stands that win orders at the Clean India Show demonstrate the machine and the result. We design a safe, well-lit demonstration area where equipment can run — a scrubber on a demo floor, a high-pressure or hygiene demo — with clear capability and result messaging, product display for the range, and a meeting area for the supply conversation. A working demo earns dwell time and credibility that a static machine never will.
We keep the message specific to your segment — industrial cleaning, professional hygiene, laundry, waste, facility services — because an industrial buyer and an institutional facility buyer assess differently, and a demonstrable, result-focused proposition lands far harder than a general 'cleaning solutions' one.
Designing for facility managers, contractors and institutional buyers
Buyers walk the Clean India Show with equipment and service procurement decisions for real operations, so the stand has to demonstrate capability and then host the conversation: a working demo and clear results, then a conversation about specification, running cost, service and supply. We design the path from the demo to that conversation, because at a demonstration-driven show the working machine earns the meeting and the meeting earns the order or contract.
We keep the message specific to your domain and buyer, because a manufacturing facility, a hospital and a cleaning contractor want different proof, and a precise, demonstrable capability is engaged with far faster than a generic one.
What a Clean India Show stand costs
A turnkey SOL stand at the Clean India Show runs from ₹1.8 lakh for a focused 9–18 m² Essential presence, from ₹4.5 lakh for a 24–48 m² Regular build with a demonstration area and meeting space, and from ₹12 lakh for a 50–100 m²-plus Premium island or multi-demo build. The figure is all-inclusive — design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, delivery within Mumbai, install, dismantle and the venue paperwork — with only the organiser's floor rental outside it.
What moves the number is a wet or powered demonstration area with water, drainage and power, heavy equipment handling, or a double-deck lounge. What you do not pay extra for is flooring, material handling and electrical fit-out — and because this is our home venue, you also save the freight an out-of-Mumbai builder would add.
Stand sizes and layouts
Stands run from compact 9–18 m² spaces for product and consumable suppliers to 100 m²-plus islands for major machinery and facility brands. The layout puts the demonstration area where the aisle sees it, keeps safe circulation around running equipment, and sets a meeting area slightly back. Corner and island positions help a demo be seen and approached on a busy floor.
Whatever the size, we design the demonstration to run safely and present the range well, because on a cleaning floor a working, well-presented demo is the quality signal a facility buyer reads before any conversation starts.
Getting into the BEC: build-up timing
The BEC runs a tight build-up and dock schedule, and services book up early. We confirm your build slot, order power and any water and drainage through the venue contractor before the deadline, plan the demonstration area, and — because we're local — schedule a short, reliable delivery so the stand and the demo area land set and ready for the first buyer.
Being Mumbai-based, we can set and test a working demo area carefully during build-up in a way an out-of-town builder can't.
Reusing your stand between editions
Cleaning and facility brands exhibit at the Clean India Show and the regional facility and hygiene circuit across the year, so a modular reusable stand with a re-deployable demo area is strong value. We store the core in Mumbai, refresh graphics and product display for each edition, and keep your power, water and contractor orders on file — so the next edition is a refresh, not a rebuild.
Common mistakes, in order of frequency
- A static machine on a floor where a working demo wins the buyer.
- Under-planning power, water or drainage for a live demonstration.
- Generic 'cleaning solutions' copy with no demonstrable result or running cost.
- No meeting area for the procurement or contract conversation.
Getting Started
Send your stand size, your hall and stand number once the organiser has issued it, and a short note on what will physically happen on the stand. You get a 3D design and an itemised all-in quote, at no charge and with no obligation.
