A Guide to Kisan Agri Show for First-Time Exhibitors
Building at the Pune venue: the rules that shape your stand
Kisan runs at Pune's large exhibition grounds with significant outdoor and indoor space suited to tractor and machinery displays. The space you're allocated — indoor hall or outdoor plot — shapes the build, so we design to the specific allocation rather than a generic assumption.
Machinery and vehicles are heavy, so floor or ground loading and access (ramps, plot preparation) are planned in early. Power is sanctioned through the official contractor against a declared load (including any demonstration), ordered ahead to avoid surcharges. All materials are FR-treated with certificate and fire NOC filed before move-in, finishing is completed off-site, and two-storey builds need a structural-stability certificate from a licensed engineer.
The big logistics advantage here is proximity: Pune is roughly 150 km by road from our Mumbai facility — one of the shortest legs on the entire India circuit — so freight is quick and inexpensive, crating is minimal, and we can react fast and even make late refinements that a distant build would never allow.
What a winning agriculture stand needs
The stands that win at Kisan present real machinery and product and make the value legible. We design display for tractors, implements or equipment with safe access so a farmer can see and climb on the machine, clear signage on output, capacity and value, a demonstration where useful, and a dealer/hosting area. For agri-input and seed brands, we design strong product and brand display with sampling and a meeting area.
Value and durability are what this audience buys on, so we make the machine's output, build and economics legible, and keep the stand approachable, because a farmer or dealer should grasp the value and get hands-on before any conversation starts.
Designing for farmers, dealers and agri-businesses
Buyers walk Kisan with purchase and dealership decisions, so the stand has to attract and demonstrate, then host the conversation: real machinery they can experience, a demonstration where useful, then a conversation about price, financing, dealership and service. We design the path from the machine to that conversation, because at a farmer- and dealer-driven show the experience earns the meeting and the meeting earns the order or dealership.
We keep the message specific to your segment — tractors, implements, irrigation, inputs, post-harvest — because a tractor buyer and an irrigation buyer assess different things, and a precise value-and-output statement is found far faster than a general 'agriculture solutions' one.
What a Kisan stand costs
A turnkey SOL stand at Kisan runs from ₹1.8 lakh for a focused 9–18 m² Essential presence, from ₹4.5 lakh for a 24–48 m² Regular build with machinery or product display and a dealer area, and from ₹12 lakh for a 50–100 m²-plus Premium build with multiple machines, a demonstration and a hospitality area. The figure is all-inclusive — design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, the short road freight to Pune, install, dismantle and the venue paperwork — with only the organiser's floor or plot rental outside it.
What moves the number is vehicle and machinery handling and access, an outdoor plot build, a demonstration, or a hospitality area. What you do not pay extra for is flooring, material handling and electrical fit-out — and because the Pune freight leg is so short, the logistics line is one of the lightest on the circuit.
Stand sizes and layouts
Stands run from compact 9–18 m² indoor spaces for inputs and component suppliers up to large outdoor plots carrying multiple tractors and machines for major brands. The layout puts machinery where the crowd sees it, plans safe access and circulation, and keeps a dealer/hosting area for the conversation. Prominent corner, island and outdoor positions help a brand be seen amid a large farmer footfall.
Whatever the size, we present and light the machinery and product to show build quality and value, because on a farmer- and dealer-driven floor the presentation and approachability of the stand shape how the brand and product are judged.
Getting into Pune: build-up timing
The venue runs a build-up and marshalling schedule for a large show with outdoor plots, and power and access book up early in the December window. We confirm your build slot or plot, order power and any demonstration load through the official contractor before the deadline, plan ground loading and access for machinery or vehicles, and use the short Mumbai-to-Pune freight to land the stand and machines set and ready for the first day.
The short Pune leg means we can coordinate machinery and stand easily and accommodate late changes that a distant build could not.
Reusing your stand between editions
Agriculture brands exhibit at Kisan and the regional agri and machinery circuit across the year, so a modular reusable stand designed around your machine footprints is strong value. We store the core in Mumbai, refresh graphics and display for each edition, and keep your power and handling orders on file — so the next show is a refresh and a re-set of the machines, not a rebuild.
Common mistakes, in order of frequency
- A machinery stand a farmer can't get close to or climb on.
- Under-planning ground loading and access for tractors and heavy machines.
- Generic 'agriculture solutions' messaging with no output, value or economics.
- No dealer/hosting area on a dealership-and-order-driven floor.
Getting Started
Send your stand size, your hall and stand number once the organiser has issued it, and a short note on what will physically happen on the stand. You get a 3D design and an itemised all-in quote, at no charge and with no obligation.
