Exhibition Stand Design Company in India
We design stands and then build them ourselves in Mumbai. That is the whole difference: nothing gets drawn that our own workshop cannot make, and nothing gets promised that the organiser’s build-up window will not allow.

A design company that has to build it too
Most exhibition design in India is sold by one company and made by another. The design company wins the brief, the drawings go out to a fabricator, and the two meet for the first time on the show floor. Everything that goes wrong in that model goes wrong in the gap: a detail that cannot be cut, a finish nobody sourced, a structure that needs three days of build-up in a hall you get for one night.
We design and fabricate under one roof, which changes what gets drawn. A designer who knows the panel sizes their own workshop cuts, the lead time on a laminate, and how long a truss takes to stand in a hall with a single overnight window, draws differently. Not more conservatively — more accurately. The ambitious ideas survive because they are engineered from the start, and the undeliverable ones are caught on paper.
It also means the quote and the drawing describe the same object. When the people who priced it are the people who will build it, there is no second estimate, no variation the week before the show, and nobody to blame if the finish is not what the render showed.
What a designed stand costs
Design is inside the build price, not billed on top of it. The first 3D concept and the itemised quotation are free; you commit only when you approve a design and a number you are happy with.
Where you want the design without the build — because you have a contractor, or a procurement policy that requires a tender — that is a separate engagement with its own fee, and the fee is credited in full if you later award the build to us.
Every band is all-inclusive of design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, furniture, freight, installation and dismantle:
Essential
- Design, build and graphics
- Lighting and furniture
- Transport from Mumbai
- Installation and dismantle
Regular
- Bespoke structure and joinery
- Meeting area and storage
- Lighting design
- Full site crew
Premium
- Double-decker or feature build
- AV integration
- Hospitality and meeting rooms
- Dedicated project manager
Stand figures are all-inclusive of design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, furniture, transport, installation and dismantling. They exclude the organiser's floor rental, power connection charges and venue-levied service fees, which the organiser bills to you directly. GST applies at prevailing rates.

What a design engagement actually produces
A concept you can approve, and a document your show can be built from.
3D concept, free
Two layout options worked against your confirmed plot and booth number, rendered so you can see what a visitor sees from the aisle. No upfront fee, no obligation — we ask for a real brief in return, because a concept drawn against guesses wastes your time as much as ours.
Drawings at scale
General arrangement, elevations and sections, with a materials and finishes schedule that specifies substrate, thickness, finish and print method rather than describing them. “18 mm BWR ply, PU duco in a stated shade” is a specification; “premium finish” is an invitation to substitute.
Lighting and load
A lighting plan with fixture types and positions and a calculated electrical load in kilowatts, ready for the organiser application. Under-declaring is the usual reason a stand trips at nine on opening morning.
An itemised quote
Structure, graphics, furniture, AV, electricals, freight, installation and dismantle priced line by line, with organiser and venue charges shown separately and GST at prevailing rates. A lump sum is a number you can only accept or refuse.
From brief to frozen design
The sequence matters more than the calendar, because each step closes off changes that get expensive later. Layout changes are free until the concept is frozen; after fabrication drawings are issued, a change to the structure means re-cutting panels.
Seven weeks is comfortable for a custom design. Where the plot is confirmed late — common in India — we can compress to four by running drawings in parallel with concept approval, at the cost of some rework if the direction shifts. What we will not do is agree a date we can only meet by cutting corners that show on the floor.
Everything is checked against the organiser’s exhibitor manual before it reaches you. Height caps, first-floor approval timelines, rigging restrictions and the build-up window shape a design more than the brief usually does.
What each stage settles
- Week 1
- Plot, hall and objectives confirmed; the manual reviewed
- Weeks 2–3
- Two 3D concepts with indicative cost ranges
- Week 4
- Direction frozen — the last point at which layout changes are free
- Weeks 5–6
- Drawings, finishes schedule, lighting plan, load calculation
- Week 7
- Approvals filed and fabrication released
- Then
- Pre-assembly, photography and sign-off before it ships

Stand design — common questions
Is the 3D design really free?
Yes. The first 3D concept and the itemised quotation carry no upfront fee and no obligation. You commit when you approve a design and a price. We do ask for a real brief in return — show, dates, plot size, hall and objectives — because a concept drawn against assumptions costs you a revision round.
What does a designed stand cost?
Essential 9–18 m² from ₹1.8 lakh, Regular 24–48 m² from ₹4.5 lakh, Premium 50–100 m²+ from ₹12 lakh. All-inclusive of design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, furniture, freight, installation and dismantle. The organiser’s floor rental and venue-charged services are separate, and GST applies at prevailing rates.
How long does the design stage take?
Seven weeks is comfortable for a custom stand: brief and constraints in week one, two concepts by week three, direction frozen in week four, drawings and lighting by week six, approvals filed in week seven. Where the plot is confirmed late we can compress to four by running drawings alongside concept approval, accepting some rework if the direction changes.
Do you design for plots you will not build?
Yes, as a separate design-only engagement — concept, scaled drawings, finishes schedule, lighting plan, bill of quantities and a venue compliance note that any competent contractor can build from. Design packages start at ₹45,000 for plots up to 48 m², and the fee is credited in full if you later award the build to us.
How many revisions are included?
Two rounds on the selected direction, which is enough for almost every project when the brief was real. Changes after the design is frozen are quoted, because at that point fabrication drawings are issued and a structural change means re-cutting panels rather than moving a line on a screen.
Will the built stand look like the render?
That is the point of building it ourselves. The render is drawn against the panel sizes, materials and print methods our own workshop uses, and the stand is pre-assembled and photographed at our unit before it is crated, so you see the real thing before it ships — not on the show floor.
Who files the organiser approvals?
We do. Structural drawings for bare space, first-floor approval for a double-decker, height clearance, rigging permission, and the fire and electrical declarations. Each venue has its own set and its own lead time, and an exhibitor chasing an organiser for a stamp two weeks out has already been let down.
Do you design for shows outside India?
Yes. We design and manage stands for Indian companies exhibiting across Asia-Pacific, the Gulf, Europe and the United States — built and shipped from India under an ATA carnet where that is sensible, or delivered locally through the relevant SOL studio. One project manager in Mumbai stays with you either way.
