Modular Exhibition Stands · 30 m²

30 m² Exhibition Stall Designs

At 6 × 5 m, a fully enclosed meeting room with a door that shuts is what the footprint will genuinely carry. Built on a reusable aluminium system from our Mumbai workshop and installed at Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, BIEC in Bengaluru and HITEX in Hyderabad.

Pricing

What a 30 m² exhibition stall costs

A full 30 m² modular build runs roughly ₹5.4 lakh to ₹8.8 lakh, about ₹18,000 to ₹29,000 per square metre at this footprint. Smaller stands carry a higher rate per square metre than large ones, because freight from Mumbai and crew are largely fixed whatever the area. The spread is wide because the structure is only part of the cost. Height drives it first: a stand with a 3 m fascia and a suspended lighting rig sits near the top, while a 2.5 m wall system with structure-mounted lighting sits near the bottom.

Graphics are the second variable. Printed panels are inexpensive; backlit lightboxes cost several times more per square metre and change how the stand reads from the aisle in a way photographs never quite capture. Furniture is the third — catalogue pieces are inside the figures above, bespoke joinery is not.

What the range does not include is the floor itself. Space rental at a major Indian show runs somewhere between ₹9,000 and ₹18,000 per square metre before the stand exists, and organiser charges for power, water, waste and passes are billed separately again. We quote the build; the venue quotes the rest, and we will tell you what to budget for both. GST applies at prevailing rates.

One thing worth weighing at this size: the system is an asset, not a consumable. Spread across three appearances the per-show cost falls to a fraction of the first build, since only graphics and crew recur. If your calendar has a single show in it, say so and we will price the alternatives honestly — a bespoke build sometimes makes more sense for one flagship appearance.

Planning the space

Designing for 30 square metres

Single decision that shapes a 30 m² stand

The single decision that shapes a 30 m² stand is how much of the frontage you give away. Every counter, plant and literature rack placed on the aisle edge is floor you have spent money on and then blocked. At 6 × 5 m the honest capacity is a fully enclosed meeting room with a door that shuts — beyond that you are decorating rather than designing.

Proportion matters more than area

Proportion matters more than area. Organisers hand out 30 m² in several shapes, and a long shallow plot behaves nothing like a square one. We design to your allocated stall number and its open sides, which is why the concept comes after you have your floor plan, not before.

Height is the other constraint people discover late

Height is the other constraint people discover late. Most Indian halls cap single-storey builds around 4 to 5 metres and require organiser sign-off above that, so the vertical brand block that reads down a main aisle has to be planned inside the rules rather than argued afterwards.

How we work

From brief to handover

STEP 1
Brief — SOL Brand Solutions process step 1

Brief

Send the show, hall, stall number and open sides. We confirm height limits and rigging rules before anything is drawn.

STEP 2
3D design — SOL Brand Solutions process step 2

3D design

A 3D concept within 48 hours, worked to your products and brand rather than dropped onto a template.

STEP 3
Quotation — SOL Brand Solutions process step 3

Quotation

An itemised quote against the approved design — structure, graphics, lighting, furniture, transport and crew, priced separately.

STEP 4
Production — SOL Brand Solutions process step 4

Production

Built and test-assembled in our Mumbai workshop, so faults surface on our floor and not in the hall.

Delivery & installation

We ship, build inside the organiser’s window with a project manager present, and dismantle afterwards.

Questions

30 m² — common questions

What does a 30 m² exhibition stall cost in India?

Our Regular band for 30 m² starts at ₹4.5 lakh all-inclusive — design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, road freight from our Mumbai workshop, installation and dismantle are all inside that figure. The organiser's floor or space rental is separate, as are venue-charged services such as power and rigging. GST applies at prevailing rates.

What are the usual dimensions of a 30 m² stall?

Most commonly 6 × 5 m, though organisers allocate the same area in other proportions. The proportion matters more than the area — a long shallow plot and a square plot of identical size want completely different layouts, so send us your stall number and we design to the actual shape rather than a nominal figure.

How many staff can work a 30 m² stand?

As a working guide, allow roughly 4 m² per person once furniture and storage are in. Overstaffing is the most common mistake at this size — a crowded stand reads as closed to a passing visitor, and staff standing in the open frontage block the sightline that brought them over.

How long does build-up take?

A 30 m² modular build is typically a one to two day install, with dismantle the evening the show closes. We work to the organiser's build-up window at Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon and every other major Indian venue, including the night shifts most halls require.

Is the stand reusable at the next show?

Yes — the aluminium system frame is yours and travels between shows. Graphics are the consumable element and are reprinted per event, which is where most of the repeat cost sits. Reusing a system across three or four shows a year is where modular clearly beats building fresh each time.

Do you handle transport outside Maharashtra?

Yes. We road-freight from the Mumbai workshop to venues across India with GST e-way bills raised for every consignment, and we plan the run against the organiser's build-up window rather than the shortest route. Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Ahmedabad are regular destinations for us.

Can we see a design before committing?

Yes. Send the show, hall, stall number and size and we produce a 3D concept and an all-inclusive quote before any commitment. The designs on this page are starting points — layout, counter position, storage and branding are all adjusted to your products and your actual plot.

How is 30 m² different from the sizes either side of it?

A fully enclosed meeting room with a door that shuts is what this footprint adds. Below it you lose that; above it you gain circulation space rather than a new capability. Choose on what you need the stand to do, not on the number.
