A Guide on Bauma Conexpo India – February 2021

SOL, a style design company, Bauma CONEXPO INDIA gives us an insight about the Bauma exhibition conducted in the month of February, the International exhibition for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, and Construction Vehicles, had taken place on February 23–26, 2021 in Gurugram/New Delhi.

Because of the expanding pandemic, as well as local and international travel restrictions imposed by the Indian government, organisers announced they would reschedule the trade show after assessing the market situation in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic.

“We have decided to postpone bauma CONEXPO INDIA following careful market assessment and interaction with our key stakeholders,” stated Bhupinder Singh, CEO of bC Expo India Pvt. Ltd. The postponement was in the exhibitors’ and visitors’ best interests.”

Arvind K. Garg, chairman of the bauma CONEXPO INDIA – Task Force and executive vice president and head of Larsen & Toubro Ltd Construction and Mining Machinery Business, backed the rescheduling decision. “We are in an unprecedented circumstance that has had a big impact on our industry,” he said. This decision to reschedule bauma CONEXPO INDIA was made in response to comments from both our key stakeholders—exhibitors and customers.“

Sandeep Singh, president of ICEMA and managing director of Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Private Limited, also endorses bC Expo India Pvt. Ltd.’s decision.

“The pandemic has had a significant human and economic cost both globally and in India.” The cancellation of bauma CONEXPO INDIA would allow the Indian business more time and resources to prepare for the 2021 edition.”

“Rescheduling bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2020 will enable exhibitors and tourists from across the country to participate in the trade fair without any hassles,” stated Mu. Moahan, president of the Builders Association of India (BAI). The postponement is beneficial, as the BAI National Members Meet can be scheduled in conjunction with the bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2021, allowing for maximum participation from across India.”

Design tips from SOL, a stall design company, bauma can have

With increased competition and more complicated booths than ever before, you’ll need to find a way to stand apart.

Are you ready to stand out from the crowd and create a splash in the crowded exhibit hall? When it comes to planning your next trade show booth, exhibit, or display, remember these eight tips.

1) Make it participatory.

Using passive activities to attract visitors, such as watching a video screen, will not be as beneficial as incorporating interactive components. Attendees enjoy participating in trade show activities because they have a chance to win a gift. Getting consumers to stay longer at your booth means more time for your representatives to interact with potential customers. To persuade people to interact with your content, use touch screen technology, have giveaways, or show product demos that they can participate in.

2) Keep key messaging large, brief, and at waist level.

Place all of your critical statements higher than 3 to 4 feet to ensure that they are easily seen. To enhance your brand, place your company logo in numerous parts of the exhibit. Keep your message short and limited to a few powerful headlines printed in a wide, readable typeface that can be read from a distance.

3) Don’t Forget About Negative and Empty Space

While you don’t want your booth to be too bare, consider the advantages of allowing some empty space. Keep it clean and appealing by avoiding cumbersome furnishings and big goods. You can ensure that the customer is comfortable when conversing with your personnel if you have this extra bit of room.

Negative space should also be included in your graphics. The general rule for booth graphics is that 40 percent of the space should be unoccupied.

4) Ensure that images are properly formatted and resized.

Although the latest iPhone model takes decent shots and an Instagram vignette filter gives your cell phone photos that extra “pop,” high-resolution images and properly structured graphics are required for trade show displays. Otherwise, your printed papers may appear pixelated, hazy, or stretched. Before you go to print, get a competent designer to produce your materials according to the spec sheet from your supplier.

5) Maintain a consistent brand from top to bottom.

Make sure your booth’s logo is consistent across the space. Your brand’s concept should be consistent throughout all of your design resources, from banners and graphics to freebies and more.

6) Use the Surprising Element

Put something that doesn’t belong in the centre of your exhibit space if you really want to get people’s attention. Whatever you do, seek to elicit awe, amusement, or, best of all, a need-to-know response from your customers, encouraging them to come inside and interact with your business.

Conclusion
